LEOPARD CUB HER STORY
We call her Stealth, she is such a gutsy little girl. My friend Brian that supplies me with most of my wildlife photographs, farms in Botswana. The mother of Stealth kicked her out the nest for some unknown reason, she was such a little baby, crying all the time.
They took her home and hand reared her, She became part of the family, and grew into a strong healthy leopard,
Walked in and out of the house. slept on the beds, played with the dogs, destroyed as far as she went.
When she was about 18 months old she disappeared, they looked for her, drove all over to seek her but she was gone.
They were scared that she could get killed or even eaten by other predators. After 2 years one night the dogs were barking nervously, and after a while it sounded like the dogs were playing. They walked outside to shut the dogs up and there she was playing with the dog like she had never left. They were all so happy to see her, she acted as if she had never left. After about 2 and half weeks she disappeared again, that was about 18 months ago.
They have not seen her again, but hope that she will come back again in the near future.
Her name was Mickey but everyone that met her said she has stealth, hence the name.
